Is SoACE Membership transferable? 
Yes. SoACE membership is transferable from one person to another, should the previous member leave the department. In order for the membership to be transferable, the Organization must have paid the membership dues. 

How may I transfer an existing membership to someone else in our department?
Log into SoACE Connect using the previous person's username and password. Under the SoACE Connect Menu, scroll down to My Profile. Click "Edit Profile" under the "My Status" area. Make the appropriate edits and then click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

If I join the organization mid-year, are the dues prorated?
The membership year begins July 1 and ends June 30. Membership dues are $130 for professional members and $55 for student members. All memberships expire on June 30 regardless of when you join or renew. New members may pay their dues between January 1 and June 30, which grants them up to 6 additional months of membership. For budgetary purposes, current members may elect to pay their dues for the coming year starting April 1.
