Breakout sessions will take place Thursday, June 25, 2020.
  • Networking roundtablesThese roundtable sessions let participants dip quickly into topics in an open environment for idea sharing, benchmarking and guided discussion. Roundtable hosts/moderators should be prepared to facilitate discussion and have talking points already established, but not make a formal presentation. Hosts should also be prepared to collect contact information and compile notes to send out to attendees after the conference. Roundtable sessions will take place Wednesday, June 24, 2020.

Preference will be given to programs in the areas of best practices, utilizing technology and data analytics in employer relations, and student, faculty, parent and alumni partnerships. Additionally, joint presentations are encouraged between employers and career service professionals or representatives from multiple schools.
  • Best Practices: Highlighting strategic employer development and unique programming in employer relations and talent development.
  • Utilizing technology and data analytics: How do you use technology and data to tell your story to campus, faculty, and employer partners? Include strategy, software/technology used and impact on employer relations goals.
  • Student, faculty, and alumni partnerships: How do you engage students, faculty, and alumni in employer relations?  Peer advisor and ambassador programs, alumni networking events, faculty advisory boards, corporate sponsorships and student focus groups.
Additional topics to be considered may include:
On Campus/Career event strategies, experiential learning programs, and employer development/engagement strategies.

We very much look forward to receiving your breakout and/or roundtable proposals, and we thank you in advance for having the interest and taking the time to submit your program!
