Register for the Virtual Social Mobility Symposium Old Dominion University is excited to invite you to the 2021 Social Mobility Virtual Symposium. We are thrilled to bring together higher education leaders to enhance social mobility practices. Our program this year is a collaboration with Old Dominion University and California State University San Marcos. With the help of national leaders who serve diverse student populations, we will gather virtually for the fourth year to examine affordability and access, retention, graduation rates, and how we can enhance upward social mobility for the students we serve. Highlights of the event include two keynotes: Dr. Joseph Castro, Chancellor of the California State University system along with Dr. Tia Brown McNair, author of “Becoming a Student-Ready College: A New Culture of Leadership for Student Success.” A panel of national university presidents will also share their vision and values tied to social mobility.
