Renewals open each year on April 1. Primary contacts receive renewal information and invoices when the renewal period begins.

Regular Membership

$175 per member

Regular membership is available to official representatives of organizations whose professional responsibilities include career services, career development, professional development, or the recruitment and training of college students and graduates.

Educational Institution Members: Professionals representing post-secondary educational institutions that grant, at minimum, associate or bachelor's degrees and provide career services, career development, or professional development for students.

Employer Members: Professionals who recruit, screen, hire, or train college students or graduates for their organization. This category does not include third-party recruiters, staffing organizations, or organizations providing products or services to career services.

Affiliate Membership

$175 per member

Affiliate membership is available to individuals and organizations that provide products or services supporting educational institution or employer members and whose work complements the mission and purpose of SoACE.

This may include staffing or employment agencies, publishers, software providers, advertising or media organizations, consultants, faculty, and supervising managers. Affiliate members receive membership benefits but may not vote or hold office.

Individual Membership

$175 per member

Individual membership is available to professionals who personally fund their membership rather than having dues paid by an employer. The membership remains with the individual if they change organizations. Individual members may not vote or hold office.

Student Membership

$55 per member

Student membership is available to individuals enrolled in degree-granting programs at accredited colleges or universities who have an interest in the career services or employer relations profession and are not employed full-time in the profession. Eligibility ends six months after completion of the degree or upon employment in the field, whichever occurs first. Student members may not vote or hold office.

Retiree Membership

$175 per member

Qualified members may retain their SoACE membership following retirement. Retiree membership belongs to the individual, who is responsible for dues. Retiree members may not vote or hold office.

Honorary Lifetime Membership

Complimentary

Honorary Lifetime Membership recognizes individuals who are no longer eligible for active membership and who have made notable contributions to the profession or to SoACE. Recipients are nominated by members and approved by the Board of Directors. Honorary Lifetime members do not vote or hold office and do not pay dues. Those who return to the profession must resume full dues-paying membership to remain active in SoACE.

Group Membership

Organizations may group memberships for individuals from the same institution or company under one organizational membership and receive a single invoice. One individual serves as the primary contact, and group eligibility is verified by SoACE.
