Scholarships

SoACE is offering one $2,000 scholarship to support attendance at the Annual SoACE Conference and two $500 scholarships to support participation in the LEAD Program.

Applications for scholarships to attend the SoACE Annual Conference and to participate in the SoACE LEAD Program are now open. Applications must be received by Friday, July 11, 2025

LEAD Program Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. Career Services Professional – Active employment within a college or university career services or experiential education center within the SoACE region.
  2. Employers – Active employment with an employer in the field of HR located within the SoACE region (those with college recruiting responsibilities will be given preference).
  3. Membership in SoACE.
  4. Preference will be given to professionals with:
    1. Two or more years of full-time experience in career services, recruiting, or related field and who have been given, or who aspire to, a managerial position and,
    2. Whose institution/organization has not had a recipient of the SoACE Professional Development Scholarships or the SoACE Fellowship in the past two years and,
    3. Demonstrated financial need for the scholarship and,
    4. Demonstrated involvement in an –ACE organization (NACE, SoACE, or state ACE).
  5. Completed application and requested materials.
